THANKSGIVING PROGRAM

Text: Isaiah 12:4-5 (NASB)
And on that day you will say, “Give thanks to the LORD, call on His name. Make known His deeds among the peoples; make them remember that His name is exalted.” Praise the LORD in song, for He has done glorious things; let this be known throughout the earth.

English dictionary describes thanksgiving as an act of gratitude especially to God
In other words, thanksgiving is expression of heartfelt appreciation for kindness and or favour earned
God has always show us favour, love and kindness, our duty as human is to reciprocate his kindness towards us through thanksgiving
I encourage each and everyone of us to find a suitable time out of our busy schedules to appreciate God today and you will never regret doing so.

Prayer: Dear God, Thank you for your amazing power and work in our lives, thank you for your goodness and for your blessings over us. Thank you for your great love and care. Thank you for your sacrifice so that we might have freedom and life. Forgive us for when we don’t thank you enough, for who you are, for all that you do, for all that you’ve given. Help us to set our eyes and our hearts on you afresh. Renew our spirits, fill us with your peace and joy. We love you and we need you, this day and every day. We give you praise and thanks, for You alone are worthy! In Jesus’ Name, Amen.
